Grant Park, More to Do than You Could Dream

What should we do today? "Grant Park," easily one of the quickest places to roll off my tongue. Whether you like to hike, swim, sail, eat good food, bask in the sun, music, golf or enjoy the wonders of nature, you'll find it here. There is quite literally, something for everybody.

FOR THE HISTORY BUFF
Grant Park is Milwaukee County's oldest park, established in 1910. You'll find nearly 400 acres to explore: winding paths through beautiful woodlands and Lake Michigan's shoreline. The historic clubhouse dates back to 1892.

FOR THE KIDS
Let's put it out there! Ice Cream. That's just the tip of the iceberg. Kids will love playing in the oceanic-like waters of Lake Michigan, frolicking though playgrounds, and running up and down the trails. They will be mesmerized by the varied plant life and old, very tall trees.

FOR THE SPORTS ENTHUSIAST
The park is home to ballfields, cycling and walking trails, and an 18-hole golf course. It can guarantee a solid workout for which includes the Seven Bridges Trail, a 2-mile loop.

FOR THE ENTERTAINMENT BUFF
Dance away a Friday night with Friday night music, or sit back while you dig in at the beachside grill. If you venture out, you'll find stone pathways, artistic bridges and recreational facilities -- a changeup to the day-to-day urban lifestyle.

Visitors will wow at the scenery, be energized by a plethora of activities, and find a respite in the middle of Southeast Wisconsin.
